Can't uplaod ORF files into Lightroom 6.0

When I try to upload .ORF files from my Olympus E-M1 MkII into Lightroom 6.0 (stand alone, Windows 10) the images are blanked out with "Preview unavailable for this file". Is this normal? Please can someone tell me what I need to do to be able to get my RAW files into Lightroom?

The Olympus E-M1 MkII was introduced after Adobe stopped supporting Lightroom 6, so that is why Lightroom 6 does not support its raw files. You can use the free Adobe DNG Converter to convert your .ORF files to DNG, which will open in Lightroom 6. Or perhaps it's time to upgrade to a subscription to Lightroom Classic...
