Cannot Delete Missing Folders

Hello,

I have a hard drive that I am no longer using, and it has around 900K images. I am trying to delete the entire folder from the catalog, and every time I right click the "remove" folder, which is missing, my LR seems to freeze. Is there another way or method of removing large folders?

If folder is indicated as missing, then LrC has no access to it, hence not being able to remove it.

Try reconnecting the hard drive to give LrC access to the folder. You should now be able to remove the folder.

I no longer have access to the missing hard drive. I am looking to remove it from the side bar. Is this possible?
