Cannot Import Movies from Nikon D850

Hi all, I am not able to import movies (4K MOV or 1080 MOV) into LightRoom. I get an error that says, "There is a problem with the video file." I am able to import the movies into iMovie, so I know the file is OK. Anyone have an idea on what is happening and how to fix? thanks...

Hi jadannay,

Could you please let us know which version of Lightroom are you using?

Does it help if you import clear the Lightroom video cache?

  • Open Lightroom Preferences and click on the Performance tab.
  • Under the Video Cache Settings, click the Purge Cache button.
