Cannot log in to Lightroom mobile from desktop

Hello. I cannot sync LR Mobile on iphone and LR desktop (CC version 10.14) on Mac. From the desktop app nameplate, I cannot login to LR mobile, When I click "sign in," the screen appears but after I input email + password, it blinks but doesn't connect. I've closed the app and restarted many times. The directions online are confusing, and not working for me. Can anyone help? Thanks!

Yes, I have Mac OS 10.14.5.

Here is the info for my 2 LR desktop apps:

LR CC:

Lightroom version: CC 2015.10 [ 1111918 ]

License: Creative Cloud

Operating system: Mac OS 10

Version: 10.14 [5]

LR that links to cloud/iphone mobile pix:

Lightroom version: 2.3 [ 20190502-0902-47ed471 ] (May  3 2019)

Operating system: macOS

OS Version: 10.14 [5]

Application architecture: x64

Logical processor count: 4

Processor speed: 3.3 GHz

If you have a subscription to the Photography Plan including Lightroom and Lightroom Classic it may be worth updating to Lightroom Classic 8.3 if you need both Lightroom apps.

Hi AlfieBB,

That shouldn't be happening as you cannot login to Lightroom mobile. Let us help make it right.

Which version of Lightroom are you using? Are you using the same Adobe ID to sign into Lightroom mobile from which you're logged in to Creative Clud desktop app?

I'd recommend that you take a look at this article Lightroom message 'Upgrade required for Lightroom mobile sync' ​and let us know if that helps?

Also, there is a possibility that something is preventing the app to connect with servers, Please refer How to resolve connection errors with Adobe Creative Cloud and Creative Suite applications

Hello!

I noted the version of LR CC in the initial email, 10.14.

The other desktop LR app (see middle pic below) is 2.3 and it is synced with my iphone mobile app.

The password is correct. I only have one password across the Adobe world and it works everywhere except the 10.14 connection to mobile via the nameplate.

I have no connectivity issues.

I think 10.14 is probably your version of Mac OS?

If you launch the Lightroom app (the first to the right of the app store icon) not 2.3 please go to the menu and click:

Help >> System info

Please let us know the version & build number.
