Cannot save any files on my external hard disk, but i see my disk in Lightroom librairie

I cannot create a file on the external disc like saving my pictures year 2024. I tried to pick and slide 2024 file to the external disc, nothing happen.

Looks like you are trying to drag something (not clear what, but it looks like the entire D drive) directly onto another disk itself. That doesn’t work. Drag an image from the grid onto a folder in the folder panel to move it there. Or drag a folder onto another folder to make it a subfolder.

Ok, if you look the first piicture, i create 2023 file in D disk (external disc) and drag all the pictures. Now i tried to create a new file fro 2024 pictures and drags but lightroom does not allow me to do it like the second picture. The question is: why ??

Sorry, I don’t follow you. I think you mean ‘folder’, not ‘file’, but even then it’s unclear what exactly you are doing. Both screenshots seem to show you hovering over the disk name, but like I said, you need to drop onto a folder on that disk. Maybe you can record a screen video?

I would like to transfer all my pictures from year 2025 by usinglightroom in my external disc in order to save memory in my computer disc. See the pictures below.

Are you talking about Lightroom (Lr icon) or Lightroom Classic (LrC icon)?

I am afraid I’m not really sure what you are saying. Please explain the problem in more detail, step by step. Also, LrC does not “save” photos.
