Cannot upgrade from LR6.0 to newer version

This is really frustrating.
I desperately need to upgrade my stand-alone version of LR6.0 to one which can actually READ my Sony .ARW files.
I have tried everything (even went through some posts here), but I cannot find answers anywhere.
I don't know why these things occur when I'm in the middle of a deadline.

Tried the upgrade, but I keep getting this stupid message:
