Cannot use screen saver or display sleep when LRC is open

The latest version of LRC prevents my scrren saver and display sleep to be invoked when LRC is open. If I quit LRC, the screen saver and display sleep work like they are supposed to.

Is Lightroom Classic syncing? There is a preference setting to disallow sleep when syncing.

thanks. I'll try that and see if it works. this only started with the latest update about 3 weeks ago but I didn't change any of my preference settings so don't know why LRC would make that that change.

The update changed the synchronisation engine, so a lot of resyncing will take place until that is done. Normally Lightroom would not sync that much, so it would not affect computer sleep.
