Hello, I no longer have a subscription to adobe i just wanted to open lightroom to export some old photos and to my knowledge this was possible without a subscription (I had done it before) but now adobe is asking me for a subscription or free trail. Does adobe now doesnt allow the use organization/export in lightroom classic without a subscription? Did i just get locked out of all my photos and edits by adobe?

If you are logged in with your previous Adobe ID, Lightroom Classic should function in Residual Mode which means, Develop and Map are disabled.  All other functions should work.

You are able to export in this mode.

You can continue to access all your photos on your local hard drive through Lightroom for the desktop. You can continue to import and organize photos and output your edited photos through Export, Publish, Print, Web, or Slideshow. Access to the Develop & Map modules and Lightroom for mobile is not available after your membership ends.

So according to this, after you have cancelled your sub you should be able to use lightroom classic to organize/export photos, adobe support is telling me that I have to pay again when Im no longer working as a photographer and just want some photos of my old dog that is dying. The app has been locked on my creative cloud account and they want me to pay again. Great shady company adobe, hope you guys fail. Never paying for adobe ever again, will be boycutting the company hard, welcome darktable and gimp, after a company gets big they just want to enslave you to their methods, way to hustle thieves!

It should, as far as I know, but from adobe creative cloud app I cant launch lightroom classic. It is locked. Before I have used lightroom classic to export but I had opened it through adobe creative cloud. Is there another way now?

Launch the App directly from the LrC Icon in your Explorer. Does that work?
