Question

Capturing mouse/keystrokes for batch processing

Hello -

I am curious, with the current versions of LR Classic (2024/13.2), I am curious is there a way to create a batch function that process each photo individually based upon the batch functions.

For example, After I do some basic processing to my photos, I would like a process that would:

1) Capture a process that I would hold SHIFT and hit double click on the Blacks slider.

2) Capture a process that I would hold SHIFT and hit double click on the White slider.

3) Click on Auto option in the Upright tab

4) Click on the Blur Option and click on Apply.

I tried doing the Upright tab as a Sync, and that doesn't work properly.  I would like to be able to process each image individually with it's own Upright setting not have the same 1 applied to all the images.

Any and all ideas, suggestions, and comments are appreciated.

Thanks.

For those two, and similar, consider a third party plugin.

Jeffrey Friedl's Bag-O-Goodies plugin, specifically the Personalized Auto Tone component in that plugin comes to mind. I like it. Make sure to read the directions when setting up as it is a bit tricky.

Upright does sync correctly (recalculating each image) if you check Upright Mode only.

The other things you describe are not possible in Lightroom Classic itself, but it should be possible to do this using some macro utility.
