I got some outside help.  Problem is solved.

What does "When I try to open them in lightroom I don't have any success," mean? You may have to tell Lightroom where the catalog is, but apart from that there should be no problem if you transferred everything correctly.

You need to provide more information for anyone to be able to help.

I suggest your first use Windows Explorer to open the folder and confirm the lrcat catalog file is where you think it is located.

Then open LrC, go to the File menu, select Open Catalog, then navigate to the folder, select the lrcat file, and click Open.

That should open the catalog.  If it fails, please provide information on what messages appeared, including screen shots if possible.
