Catalogs cannot be repaired

Hi, I use LR on my home computer and on my company laptop where I can e.g. set keywords while I am traveling. Since I have a upgraded to LR Classic CC I get error messages when I want to open a backup from the home computer on the laptop and vice-versa. Further it is random.

I just figured out that even the latest backup cannot be reopened on the same computer, i.e. all the changes I've made are lost.

Does anyone already faced this ?
