Catalogs Updated to v13-3 Crash when Deleting Photos

When I attempt to delete a photo from any of my catalogs that have been updated to v13-3 from the previous version, LR crashes. The catalogs I created after the update work perfectly fine when deleting images. I have thousands of rejected photos that I need to delete to free up hard drive space, but I can't figure out a workaround or how to fix this issue. I've tried EVERYTHING.

    can you post in a reply a screenshot of LrC /Preferences/Performance? Interested in the GPU info

    When I try to delete rejected photos, whether by pressing the Delete key or Photo > Delete Rejected Photos, Lightroom INSTANTLY freezes for about 10 seconds and then the error report screen pops up. The images are never deleted. This is happening in multiple catalogs, but in some catalogs deleteing still works perfectly fine. I've tried resetting LR, I uninstalled/reinstalled the app, verified integrity of catalogs, and my system/drivers are up to date. This has never happened and I'm baffled.

    Hey, @c0unt3rfeit. Welcome to the Lightroom Community. I'll need more info to help you figure this out.

     

    Where do you keep your Lightroom catalog? On an internal or external drive?

     

    Try these suggestions:

    1 - Move the catalog from the to a non-syncing, local folder on your machine.

    2 - Launch Lightroom Classic with a new catalog from File > New catalog & then go to File > Import from catalog > target your old catalog. Proceed with merging the catalog into the newly made, internal storage-based catalog. For more help via video-based steps, check here. See https://adobe.ly/3NTC9Rv
