Catalogue corrupted every time LR is launched

Hi, I am so frustrated. LrC is up to date, I close the program properly and backup my catalogue, but then every time I restart the catalogue is corrupted and all my edits have been reset and I have to start all over again. Why is this happening?

Legend

You are having a hard disk malfunction. Unzip a recent backup and place the unzipped backup catalog on a different disk than the original. If it works from the other disk, then either you have a bad sector on the original hard disk, or the entire original disk is bad.

Please create temporarely a new catalog and import some pictures. Then test if the issue appears again.
