Question

Certain images do not sync properly end cannot be put on web. Remain stuck in a list. The same image get out of sync spontaneously and cannot be synked again. Like that for a few months. Very annoying.

Il Lr classic, for some months, some images do not sync completely.  They remain in a list viewable at “Web”.  It appears random, as similar images sync normaly.  All images are in one catalog only. on an external SSD.

Hi @Francois01AC, Welcome to the Lightroom Classic Community Forum! Let's try a few things and see if we can sync your entire catalog.

Step 1: Check Sync Error Folder

    1. Open https://adobe.ly/4gZcF43 and select the Sync error folder under All Photos.

    2. If there are images in the sync error folder, pause the sync function on all active devices. Ensure you have a backup of the images you were trying to upload.

    3. Clear the Sync Error folder and empty the Deleted folder.

    4. After clearing these folders, reupload the images.

Step 2: Filter Images by Sync Status

    1. Click the filter icon at the top and select Sync Status > Syncing.

    2. Lightroom will display the images currently trying to sync.

    3. Select all the images and either:

      • Delete the selected images and then import them again into Lightroom.

      • Apply a flag or star rating to the selected images.

    Step 3: Check Deleted Folder

    1. Click the My Photos icon in the left panel and then select the Deleted folder.

    2. Look for images with the blue syncing icon in the Deleted folder.

    3. Restore these images. Once they sync successfully, you can delete them again if desired.

If none of these steps work, can you send your system info, a screen recording of the issue, and a numbered list of the exact steps needed to reproduce it? You can find your system info by going to Help > System Info, copying and pasting it into a text file, and attaching it here. Thanks! ^CH

Thank you.I forgot to say I was on MacOS Tahoe 26.7.

    I don’t find “Deleted folder.

Actually it all started after updating to OS Tahoe. I remember having the same problem 4 months ago, and it was solved by going in the develop module or Photoshop if used, and doing a small edit modification, saving the change and send each photos again to a collection in which the syncing then worked.  A pain but it worked.  However I would prefer not to have to do that everytime I try to put a collection in Portfolio.  Maybe it could be helped by updating for the new MacOS now available.  But usually I wait several months to do that to avoid unexpected bugs.
