Change key photo for a person shown in face view

I have assigned names to various persons and the persons view now shows all named persons.

How do I chnage the photo that is shown as the key photo for a named person/face?

Hi, unfortunately Lightroom Classic doesn't have a direct "set as key photo" command for a person in People view — Lightroom chooses that cover image itself, and being able to pick it is still an open feature request.

There is a workaround, though: for the cover image, Lightroom uses the last listed photo it finds for that person, based on the current sort order of All Photographs. So you can give the photo you'd prefer a Pick flag, then in All Photographs (Library module, Grid view) set the Toolbar sort order to Pick. That moves the picked photo to the end of the list, so People view uses it as that person's cover image while that sort order is in place.

If you'd like a proper setting for this, the existing feature request is here — voting helps: https://community.adobe.com/feature-requests-676/p-allow-named-people-thumbnail-photo-to-be-changed-664847

    Hope that helps!
