Changing from Subscription to stand Alone

Hi, I want to cancel my CC subscription and run LR 6 stand alone.  Is there a documented procedure for doing this somewhere? I've downloaded a standalone version and have keys, I've even installed it but when I try and run it and the end of the install  CC opens instead.  I can't see an obvious LR 6 file in the Applications folder (Mac).  Any suggestions much appreciated.  Thanks.

Correct answer JP Hess

Lightroom 6 and Lightroom CC are exactly the same program. You can't download and install a separate standalone version of Lightroom because it doesn't exist. Here are some instructions on how to convert a trial version  to a standalone version, but the same should apply to your situation as well.

Thanks Jim.

Just been on chat with Adobe as they wanted to charge me a cancellation fee! I was also told that Adobe no longer offer stand alone software! I expressed my surprise as I had downloaded a copy of LR 6 from Amazon UK and had keys! At which point the penalty fee was kicked into touch and my subscription cancelled. He also confirmed that after this month's subscription ends when I try to open in Develop I will just need to enter the keys and all will be good. Fingers crossed.
