Question

Choosing sliders settings to copy by previous button

Hi,

when I use "Previous" button in Develop module, I usually don't want to copy masks and crop settings. Could you consider add option to choose, which settings button copies? I saw in Google that first requests for this feature reach 2009

All the best

Marcin

Perhaps I am missing the point. Would not be anything new.

Have you considered, in the Develop module, to click on Settings in the menu bar, and selecting Copy, select those settings you want, then in the next photo(s) accomplish /settings/paste/

Ok, but you need to click 3 times to do it.

The point is to define once, which settings you want to mirror with "Previous" button and use it like it works today: With one click copy and paste settings from previous photo. Just need to narrow down settings to copy and paste like in synchronize feature.

The way I found to do what you want to do was to buy a logitech mouse, and with its options+ software it gives you the option to assign shortcuts to the mouse buttons, but the interesting thing is that you can assign “smart actions” in which you can do a sequence of shortcuts, for example in your case 1.command+shift+c (0.02 s delay) 2.Enter (0.02 s delay), 3.Right arrow (0.02 s delay), 4.Commamnd+shift+v.... so you have a thousand possibilities and you can configure it according to the app you are using.

My immediate thought: If you're going to go through an extra select setting step - then you can just as well use Synchronize. Then the whole point of Previous is lost.

The point is, I don't want to open another window to do it every time.

1) Choose which settings Previous Button copies (in window simmilar to synchronize window)

2) Just click one button and copy everytime just these, chosen before, settings
