Cloud storage

Hi,

unfortunately my hard drive is really full. Is there any way to store my pictures in the cloud but remove them from the hard drive? At the moment lightroom takes up lots of space because of all the pictures in it.

You can move the photos to an external drive, while keeping them in Lightroom Classic. See Part 2 — "Updating Folder Location" in this document: https://www.computer-darkroom.com/lr2_find_folder/find-folder.htm

    No, Lightroom Classic needs the images to be locally. They don't have to be on your internal hard drive however and they don't need to be all on the same drive. They can also be on external drives, so you could move all your images, or just older images to an external drive. External drives are dead cheap these days, and cheaper than online storage.
