Color and Luminance Range Masking missing in Lightroom Classic CC

I'm still having this issue how did you solve this I'm using process V4 but still no range mask

    The range mask tools for color and luminosity selections only become available when you choose a selective adjustment tool and start brushing or dragging a rough selection. I’m in the process of making a video to isolate the leaves on a tree and boost the saturation and contrast. There is no soundtrack yet (silent movie) but you should be able to follow the steps from the movement of the mouse cursor. Hope it helps.

    thanks for your help the issue i am having is that when i do have an adjustment tool in use the option for Range Mask simply is not there.

    Did you start brushing or dragging a gradient?
