Colour Label Flter not working

Windows 10, Desktop, Lightroom Classic 14.1.1

If I select the red label filter in "All Photographs" only a single photo is displayed. However, if I select a collection (with sub-collections) then all 15 photos with the red label are displayed including the one that was displayed in "All Photographs". I'm expecting that all 15 are displayed when using "All Photographs".

I've ensured that no other filter is active other than red label. Is this a bug or am I doing something wrong?

Most likely you are doing something wrong. Could those images be in a collapsed stack in 'All Photographs'?

Thanks for the reply. No, none of the images were in a stack. I agree the most likely explanation is that I'm doing something wrong. However, I got rid of the colour label from all photos and then re-labeled some of them whilst viewing a collection. They all subsequently showed up correctly in "All Photographs". So, for the moment I can't reproduce the issue. I'll post back here if I come across the problem again.
