Question

Computer Shutting Down (Blue Screen)

I'm super happy that Adobe is dedicating so much effort to improving Artificial Intelligence and other resources to try to keep up with technological innovations. But, there's one question that they could focus on a little more:

Is there ANY chance, even if it's tiny, of fixing the COUNTLESS bugs that exist in Lightroom or would it be easier for me to buy a computer 100% dedicated to the whims of Adobe and Lightroom Classic?

Seriously, I've been facing problems for months like: computer shutting down (the infamous blue screen), software crashing, clicks being ignored, backups not being performed and others.

I've already had to format the computer a few times, buy new parts (always believing that the problem was in the computer itself) and I've already made Lightroom a high priority.

Is a computer with an AMD Ryzen 9 3900x processor, 32 GB of RAM and a 4 GB GeForce not enough for this "lovely" software? What do I need to buy to make Adobe's life easier, a computer with a quantum processor?

The Adobe Community is a place to ask questions, find answers, learn from experts, and share your knowledge. These people posting and replying in the community are mostly fellow users of the Adobe software, not so much actual Adobe employees.

If you just need to vent. That is Ok, but be aware that few if any Adobe employees will notice it.

If on the other hand, you are looking for help from other members, then perhaps consider adding some info:

Explanation of the issue including what you were doing when the problem occurred, what you were trying to achieve, and any other information you may think is useful.

  • Adobe product and version number
  • Operating system and version number
  • Error message(s) (if applicable)
  • Computer hardware, such as CPU; GPU; the amount of RAM; etc.
  • Screenshots of the problem (if applicable)

Also, it is often helpful to include the system information as (in this case) LrC reports it (some of the above info will be included). To do that, In LrC click on Help, then System Info, then Copy. Paste that information into a reply. Please present all information from first line down to and including Plug-in Info. Info after Plug-in info can be cut out as that is just so much dead space to us non-Techs and it takes up vast amounts of scroll space making the reply less readable and less likely that others will bother with your post.

In your post you state:

"Is there ANY chance, even if it's tiny, of fixing the COUNTLESS bugs"

Perhaps you could be specific on what your problems are.

If you just wanted to vent, fine, perhaps just reply Venting
