Connecting External Display is Causing Preview Issues

Hi Guys,

I'm using the Macbook Pro with the M1 Pro Chip, and a ASUS ProArt 27inch display. My first issue was the contrast and saturation being off when I hovered over the image. I figured out by turning off the GPU in preferences fixed this issue. However, turning off the GPU caused my previews to go blurry every time I make an adjustment. Can someone help me with this?
