connecting lightroom to pixelsugar

I'm having issues connecting lightroom to pixelsugar. It seems I am able to "connect to lightroom" and choose a photo to "edit in>lightroom" but when pixelsugar opens it doesn't give me the option to export the photo back into lightroom. I've contacted pixelsugar to no avail, they said it doesn't seem like it is connected to lightroom. Anyone else having these issues? Thank you.

Please explain what you mean with 'connect to Lightroom' and 'edit in Lightroom'. Is this an option in Pixelsugar? An external editor works the opposite way. You would have an 'Edit in Pixelsugar' menu in Lightroom Classic, not an 'Edit in Lightroom' menu in Pixelsugar.

If 'Edit in Pixelsugar' is what you meant, then using 'Save' in Pixelsugar should be all you need to do to get the edited image back into Lightroom Classic.

I'm not familiar with that app, so I'm speculating based on how LrC works with other external editors.

Has it ever worked properly for you? Are you saving the Pixelsugar modified file as a .jpg with the EXCACT same file name?
