Connection from Lightroom Classic to Photoshop

Question

when in Lightroom classic I have always used the 'edit photo in Photoshop' selection but now I get a message 'cannot connect to Photoshop 2024, reinstall'' however I have creative cloud, how do I uninstall and reinstall?
