Converting a Preset to an adjustment brush

Are you able to convert a preset to an adjustment brush?  I know it's possible as the presets I've purchased come with specialized brushes. They live in the Camera Raw Settings - LocalCorrections folder and have profiles.  They adjust more than the Basic panel. I can find the XMP file in the regular camera raw settings folder. I tried converting it to a LRTemplate and adding it to the Local Adjustment folder where all my other brushes exist, but it doesn't show. Any other tips or tricks to getting this XMP to become a brush?
