Copy/Paste for multiple photographers in LR

Struggling when I am editing my images and my 2nd's images from weddings. I purchased the ShuttlePRO v2 to quicken my time editing, but am wondering if there is a way to have 2 copy/paste settings without creating a preset?  When going back and forth between photographers I'd like to just hit "paste". Is there a way to setup TWO "Paste" options?

Thanks in advance!!

As I see it, you are digitally "touching" each image. They are all highlighted, you just have to make the adjustment once. But I guess it's whatever floats your boat. If you're not comfortable doing it the Lightroom way then I suppose you will have to do it your way.

If you highlight a group of related images and then make an adjustment to the image that has focus (with autosync enabled) then the adjustment made to the image that has focus will be applied to all images that are highlighted immediately. If I'm understanding what you want to do, I think autosync with probably accomplish your objective quite well.

Thanks! I like to "touch" each photo so it might just be a learning curve to get used to using a sync feature.

One radical alternative is to set up batch working "before the fact": first highlight a whole related group of photos, turn on Auto Sync, and then do the edits. Each fresh change gets applied instantly across all currently highlighted images... until Auto Sync is turned back off again. Very efficient and fluid, but requires some mental adjustment!

Otherwise if working "after the fact": perhaps try using Sync instead of Copy / Paste.

I am not too familiar with sync / auto sync. This would not allow me to edit them each individually though, correct? Most of the time I hit "paste" and then make a couple very small adjustments on almost every photo. So when our time synced images are going from my camera to his, it ends up being a LOT of back and forth. I really wish there was just an option to hit "paste 1" or "paste 2". I thought the shuttlepro v2 would allow me to save options somehow, but I think I am striking out.  Thanks for your help!! 🙂

Auto Sync allows you to edit either individually or as a group, depending on whether you have got only a single image or multiple images highlighted at a given time (with only one image highlighted, the setting of Auto Sync makes no difference). So, you can first do basic processing across a whole batch of similar images, then you can click to highlight just one image and edit only that, then move to the next image and so on. Each change supersedes whatever was done previously to that image, so far as that particular adjustment is concerned. So you can come back and reconsider some specific aspect again, across the whole batch, and only that thing will be further updated - the other individualised editing of the photos will not be overwritten. It's as selective as you want it to be.

The same is true with Sync: you decide which aspects of one primary image's current processing, you want to duplicate onto other images - as many other images as you care to highlight, along with this primary image.

Sync uses some logically grouped settings besides the single slider options presented: e.g. "Color Adjustments" or "Sharpening" - it's the same as happens with Copy / Paste or when making a Preset.

But using Auto Sync you can freely apply onto one or many images, the move of any single adjustment slider (or, a sequence of such single changes). Each action carried out becomes a separate new History step, for each of the affected images.
