Corrupt catalog

When I try to open LRC I briefly get a message saying my catalog is corrupt and needs to be fixed and then it quickly disapears. Further clicking on the app results in nothing. When I reboot I will get the brief message again. Any Ideas on how I can fix this or get this fixed?

    Restore the catalog from your recent backup and try again.
