Corrupted Cat. Holding ALT doesn't work to start LRC

Catalog corrupted. Holding ALT and double clicking on the LRC icon does nothing. How to get LRC to run and select a previous good catalog. Also, no file in \users\Rick\Pictures\Lightroom with .LOCK in the directory, even looking for hidden files.

Corrupted catalog: restore a recent backup of this catalog file. Unzip the backup catalog, copy the unzipped catalog to a new empty folder and paste it in that folder, then double-click on it to open it.
