Hi! I hope the community will be able to help me with this situation.

I own a Canon R6 and I have just bought a MacbookPro and I was looking forward to start editing but lightroom is giving me a error. (See photo attached)

"Could not copy files to the destination folder because it is not writable" so, I have updated both Mac software and Lightroom, I have change the permission to Read & Write on the specific destination folder, I have restarted the laptop a couple of times just to make sure an update wouldn´t pop up and still nothing. I am writting in the off chance that this may have happened to someone before.

Thanks in advance.

If your computer is running Ventura, then the attached screenshot may be more meaningful than that shown in above linked tutorial.

Hi, tank you for such quick reply. I have gone trhough that step as well but nothing has changed. lightroom is still displaying the same message.

Any other ideas?
