Coverting CR3. to DNG Issue

I am using a plugin called Focus Points that show the focus point of the camera in a image.

It shows the focus points for my 5D Mark III after converting the CR3 raw file to DNG, However, when inporting and converting my R5 CR3 files to DNG, it appears that the process removes the entire Canon maker notes section, including all focus information.

IMHO this is a bug in Adobe DNG converter and it needs to be checked if this applies to the entire R-Series or just specific models.

Why is adobe doing this and how do you STOP it??
