Ich habe die neue Canon EOS RP erworben und stelle fest, dass sich das Dateiformat .cr3 mit dem Adobe DNG-Converter (noch) nicht umwandeln lässt. Gibt es außer dem DNG-Converter noch eine andere Möglichkeit, die cr3-Dateien in LR 6.14 zu nutzen? Wann kann dieses Dateiformat mit dem DNG-Converter verarbeitet werden?

This is a very new camera. As of today, no version of Lightroom, and no DNG converter will handle these photos. Probably, in the next release, this will change. Until then, you need to use the software that comes with the camera to convert the RAW to TIF, and then you can import the TIF into LR.

Hilft auf jeden Fall schon mal mehr weiter und hat dann ja auch mehr Informationen enthalten.

The Canon EOS RP raw files should be supported in Lightroom Classic after today's update.

You can install the updates on desktop applications via the Creative Cloud App. [CTRL/CMD]+[ALT/OPT]+[ R ] will refresh your app if the update doesn’t appear. See Keep your Lightroom version up to date and Update apps to the latest release of Adobe Creative Cloud

Hey Akash, looks like CR3 files were updated but the camera profiles for the Canon EOS RP are still missing in Lightroom. Any estimate on when those will be added?

Du kannst mit der Canon eigenen Software "Digital Photo Professional" die RAWs in Tiff umwandeln und dann in Lightroom oder PhotoShop importieren.

So mach ich das momentan auch noch.

Hoffe natürlich, dass da bald ein Update kommt.

Danke für den Hinweis. Natürlich kann man die Fotos ins Tiff-Format umwandeln und dann importieren. Habe ich auch schon versucht, hat auch funktioniert. Allerdings mit der Einschränkung, die ja auch jpeg-Fotos gilt, dass in LR nicht die volle Funktionalität wie bei derRAW-Bearbeitung im Hinblick auf den Weißabgleich und die Anwendung von Kameraprofilen zur Verfügung steht. Außerdem, wenn man so an LR gewöhnt ist, tut man sich mit DPP etwas schwer - ich bin kein Freund dieser Software. Hoffen wir tatsächlich mal, dass es schnell geht mit dem Update des DNG-Converters...

Da gebe ich Dir voll und ganz recht. Wenn man sich an die Arbeitsabläufe von Lightroom gewöhnt hat, fällt es einem schwer sich umzugewöhnen.

Habe es auch mal mit der Testversion von Luminar 3 versucht, aber da ist das Problem ja noch größer. Die unterstützen ja noch nicht einmal die EOS R habe ich gelesen, von der EOS RP wollen wir da noch nicht einmal reden.

Gab ja heute ein Update für Photoshop, da kann das Update für Camera RAW ja nicht mehr weit sein.
