Actualy, reccomend that you post your problem over at the feedback site where actual Adobe Techs hang out. Restate you're problem, and add your sys info to your problem. Probably state problem exactly as above, including crash report. Then add a reply stating sys info.

Might be an issue with your network setup, perhaps in use of a proxy.

Please try switch off the GPU support from the Lightroom preferences and check if that helps to fix the issue

Go to Lightroom > Preferences > Performance tab > Uncheck "Use Graphics Processor" > Restart Lightroom.

There's no change after setting GPU to off.
