Creating Camera Profiles to edit Infrared Images -

Using a Macbook. Instructions I have received are to use the now obsolete and non-functional Adobe DNG editor to create a special profile, since it allows a +/-100 temperature, and this will create a camera profile to use each time I use infrared (converted camera). But since that software is defunct, is there something to use instead that can deal with the issues of white balance? Any mac users who shoot infrared found a solution?

So... this brought me down a tunnel of playing with dcpTool mentioned in the first link on capture monkey. http://dcptool.sourceforge.net/Introduction.html

 

 

From it I was able to create generic XML file.. with the red blue swap. You can change the UniqueCameraModelRestriction line to whatever camera you want to have apply a red blue swap basically. Finally use dcpTool again to make the older .dcp profile for the camera you want a red blue swap on. 

 

You may not want to do this, but it's been fascinating for me.

I did a video on that many years ago.
