Question

Creating new masks automatically apply plus one to exposure.

This started right after upgrading from Win10 to Win11.  Whenever I create a mask, doesn't matter which type, the exposure is bumped up to plus one and the mask preview isn't visible.  As soon as I put the exposure back to zero the chosen highlighting on the mask appears.  Why is it applying the added exposure?  Is it something I can adjust or is it a bug?

Probably you previously selected an adjustment in the brush, and pressed the K key, to retain the setting, and had the option shown below Off (Reset Sliders Automatically)

As for the oddity of the mask on/off, bothers me as well. no solution.

Well I'll have to chalk that up to fat fingers.  It now works the way I expect it to, thank you.
