Crop - brief reminder of the past...

Here's a minor issue I've been noticing more on 13.1.

When you open the crop tool, for the briefest moment you see a recent image that you have already cropped render to screen. It is then rapidly replaced by the current image. 

A buffer or reference isn't being reset before the redraw.
