Hi guys,

The problem: Crop on original does not sync with its virtual image, although I sync'd them several times to no avail.

LrC 13.2 - Camera Raw 16.2.    Macbook Pro.

Any ideas?

Thanks a lot.

So the crop is being synced.

When you build a 1:1 preview of the VC, does that then made the VC look as you expect? It should do, as what seems to be happening is that the rebuilding of the thumbnail and previews are happening slower than you expect. Is the computer reasonably modern?

I turned LrC off and back on and the problem disappeared.

How exactly did you sync them? Are you sure you ticked the Synchronize Settings or Copy Settings dialog? When you select the VC and build 1:1 previews, is the crop what you should expect?

I go to Grid view, highlight the right image then highlight the image I want to adjust to the previous, and I click Sync Settings, then Merge. As I've always done it. But this particular image does not show the right crop on screen, even though it does if I press R. It's a display problem.
