Crop resets when aspect ratio is changed in Library Mode

This seems like a bug ...

I want to bulk-change the aspect ratio on a collection of photos that have already been edited. However, whenever I do this, it resets the entire crop. Instead I expect it to leave the crop position and angle as it's been previously set, and simply change the aspect ratio based on the center of the current crop.

If you go into develop mode for each image, it does this correctly, but in Library mode using the "crop" tool to change aspect ratio, it resets the position and aspect ratio. 

Please fix!?! (or is there another way to do this? - syncing doesn't work because it changes the position as well)
