Crop Tool, like Photo Mechanic

It would be great to have the Lr crop tool the same as Photo Mechanic (PM). In other words, in PM you can select the crop tool, and go through each image 1 by 1 while the crop tool stays activated. In Lr, you have to re-activate the crop tool each time you go to the next photo.

As cropping is not something you would want to copy and paste (or sync), I think this would be a good feature for Adobe to implement!

Cheers

With an image open in the crop tool -

Hold down the Ctrl key (probably Cmd on a Mac) while pressing the right or left arrow key to move to next or previous image.

You can also press R for the crop tool from any view. (library, loupe, develop)

You do not have to reactivate the crop tool when you go from photo to photo.  I you do not select DONE and then select a new photo the crop tool is still active.

Yep, only if using Ctrl/Cmd though, as Per Berntsen mentioned above

That is great advice, thanks for that (did not know that)

This will help!

Still would be good to not have to hold down Ctrl/Cmd though!

If you didn't need to hold Ctrl/Cmd down to move to other photos then you would have to give up being able to adjust photo position/nudging using cursor keys. (or at least then you would have to use Ctrl/Cmd for those actions)
