Crop tool weird behaviour

When I use the crop tool on an image and select next image the crop lines remains but the only tool option is zoom. I then have to close and reopen the tool to do the next image. This cropped up a few months back in questions but thee was no apparrent resolution

An unintended resolution has occurred. I had to restart my machine and it threw me out of Adobe altogether so that I had to log back into the Adobe site.

When I opened lightroom again the ability to move on to the next image and retain cropping had returned.

When I crop images in LRC if I’m importing an image at the same time, it will jump to the image being imported with the crop happening on the newly imported image. You cannot multitask with LRC.

You can prevent that by unchecking Preferences > General > Select The Current/Previous Import Collection During Import.
