Cropping failure

After doing a crop, the photo won't hold. It reverts to the original size instead of staying with the cropped image. ??? Since there is no "done" button anymore, are they still good with the "edit" selection finalizing it? Cropping is pretty important! I'm using Windows 11, LR Classic version 12.5. It was fine before today and the recent update.

Try restarting LrC, if that doesn't help, try restarting your computer.

If you still have the issue, reset the preferences.

Cropping works properly in version 12.5 on my Windows computer.

FWIW, I have never used the Done button. I press R to open the crop window, and after cropping I press R again to return to Develop.

There is still a 'Done' button, except it is not called this way and it is in a different place. It's the left most tool button, directly below the histogram. You can also press the Enter key.
