Decommissioning and changing the label on a device

I am on the Photography plan using the latest version of Lr on a Dell laptop. I recently bought a new computer and since my plan only allows so many devices I need to tell Adobe to deactive the old Dell but the computers linked to my account are all mislabelled making it confusing. How to I straighten the labelling issue out and then deactivate?

If it is unclear which device you need to deactivate, then simply deactivate all of them. As soon as you try to use Lightroom Classic on one of your current computers, you will activate that computer again by logging into your account.

If these are creative cloud apps, you can just sign out of the Creative Cloud application, and then later when ready to use the software again, sign in with your e-mail ID.

If you still have the old computer, bring up the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App and sign out, doing so deactivates all Adobe apps in your plan on that computer.

Alternativly, At the Adobe web site, manage your account, your plan, and deactivate all of them, then on the correct computer sign in via the Adobe Creative Cloud Desktop App.
