Deleting defunct publish service?

Question

I have some old collections in LrC that were put on 500px using their now-defunct Publishing Service. I’d like to delete them, but I can’t. And I can’t reinstall the publishing service because when I do, 500px doesn't return a login code, because the plug-in is no longer supported. Any thoughts on how to get rid of these published collections if the original publish service is unavailable? Thanks.

(Just trying to de-clutter my library...)

It appears that if you install the 500px plugin (see here for a download), even though the login fails, the 500px publishing service gets enabled in LR’s Plug-in Manager, allowing you to now delete the publishing service by right-clicking on the service (not the collections).

However, the victim in that other thread never confirmed that this worked.
