"Denoise is not currently compatible with this photo format."

Triple-check you really are editing a .arw raw by going to Develop and typing "i" until you see the full file name in the upper-left corner. Many people have reported here that they mistakenly thought they were editing a raw when they were editing a JPEG or other non-raw format.  So don't assume, verify.

If you've verified that it really is a .arw file, check to see if it's one of the smaller compressed-raw formats, which aren't compatible with Denoise.  Verify that the pixel dimensions of the photo are the full dimensions supported by the camera. You can do that by typing "i" in Develop and looking in the upper-left-corner, or by going to the Metadata panel in Library.  Again, don't assume, verify.

your Version Number of LrC is: ____________________________

The file type of a photo that Denoise is "inactive" is: JPG RAW Other (pick one)

When you say "inactive", what do you see that indicates "inactive"? If possible, show us a screen capture using the "Insert Photos" icon; do not attach files.

If there is an error message, please quote the complete exact unedited word-for-word error message?
