I updated LRC tto the latest version last night, since then the denoise module is useless, its super slow and freezes at the end.  I tried to find a link or email  to report bugs but I guess Adobe wont let ou email them. The AI chat is pretty frustrating and useless as well.

denoise ai can cause GPU errors, previous LR versions it'd give a popup letting you know, current version it will just spin forever / fail + then you need to go into edit->preferences and it says "we had an error with your gpu" on performance tab

Having issues with Denoise as well. It worked on two images and then it goes through the process but doesn't actually do anything. I get the dialog box, click enhance, then it acts like it processes and says it's creating DNGs, but doesn't. I tried with a batch after closing and reopening. Did the first batch, then the same issue when I tried another batch. Closed and reopened LRC and the same thing happened again. First image works, second doesn't and batch didn't work if I didn't close and reopen LRC. All are RAW images on my laptop hard drive. I have a 2019 MacBook Pro with OS 13.6.7 and LR 14.0.1. Same thing was going on with 14.0.

Hi danaf69875454,

A few questions:

1. Do you see the denoise preview in the enhance dialog box?

2. Are you running denoise on a single image? or a batch of images?

3. Are all images of same format? If so, could you share the file format of the images?

4. If it is a batch, are there any smart previews among the images selected?

5. Are the images in a network drive? Does Denoise on an image in local drive work fine?

Hi @danaf69875454 ,

Thank you for providing the details. I tested Enhance on several Nikon Z9 images and successfully created Denoise DNG files without any problems. I’d like to get better understanding of the issue. Are you experiencing this problem only with edited Nikon Z9 images? Could you share 2-3 sample RAW images along with the corresponding edits saved in XMP files?

To Save edits to xmp file : Open the image in develop module, hit Cmd+s to save. Click 'Continue' button in 'Save Metadata to file' dialog box.

In the finder, you will see the NEF file and associated .xmp file with the same file name.
