Denoise not working in LR Classic

I’ve successfully been using denoise since it came out in LR Classic, but now it has stopped working. I use 14.5.2. I tick the Denoise box and it produces a progress bar but then stops. I asked Chat GBT and it tried lots of things (I reinstalled LR) but it eventually said ask Adobe.
