Detail Denoise does not treat the areas that have been removed using generative AI

Question

When the Generative AI spot removal has been done before Denoise is applied, the removed areas that have been treated with the Remove tool aren’t treated. However, when Denoise is applied first, the Removal treats those areas properly.

That’s by (confusing) design. The LR / Camera Raw engine has a preferred order of operations:

If you do the operations out-of-order, the yellow AI Edit Status button in the upper right will turn yellow -- click on it and do Update.
