Determining if image has original in cloud or just smart preview?

I'm wondering if it's possible in Lightroom Classic to see whether, for a given synced image, the full original file or just a smart preview lives in the cloud.

At present, I only know how to check this in LrC/LrW/LrM (looking at images one by one, or filtering by Synced from Lightroom Classic). Is it possible to see this status in Classic?

No, AFAIK you cannot see this from within Lightroom Classic.

There doesn't seem to be a simple way in either LrC or LrCC to manage the 2 main image types that are in the cloud, viz originals and smart previews.

My use case, which I suspect is pretty common, has 2 main components. One is syncing collections from LrC to the cloud (so uploading smart previews) for on-the-go viewing and editing. The other is importing images via LrCC (so uploading originals to the cloud) so they can be synced to LrC on my desktop. Typically, I then don't want the originals to stay in the cloud, but there is no simple process that I'm aware of that allows me to simply remove originals from the cloud. I believe that the only way to filter on original or smart preview is via the LrCC app on Windows or MacOS, but even then there is no simple option to delete originals only from the cloud. Having this type of capability would be really useful for my use case in order to manage cloud storage.
