Develop Module: Clicking in cell does not highlight entered text

Lightroom Classic 12.4
MacOS BigSur 11.7.7

In the Develop Module, when one clicks on a cell that accepts a text input, Lightroom no longer highlights the entire text value by default. Instead, it places the cursor at the right end of the input, requiring an additional click to highlight the previously entered text. This is annoying as it requires an extra click to overwrite the previous input, rather than allowing the user to simply begin typing to overwrite it. Example:

- Open Develop Module
- Open the Detail Module
- Click on the "Amount" field in the Sharpening section, which defaults to 40

- The cursor is placed after the "40" and one must double click / manually highlight the value / etc. in order to overwrite it. Before this update to Lightroom, clicking in that field would automatically highlight the entire value, so one needed only to click in the field and begin typing their new sharpness value to overwrite the previous

This is a KNOWN issue with Big Sur (11).  It works correctly on MacOS 12 and 13.  There is another thread with several people having the issue and all are on Big Sur.  Beings Apple will be releasing MacOS 14 in October and Adobe will probably be releasing LrC 13 also in October and if History is any clue than both Adobe and Apple will no longer support Big Sur as they only support 2 previous versions.  Considering it is only a few months away I doubt this issue that occurs only on Big Sur will be addressed/fixed.
