Develop Presets

I have replaced my hard drive and reinstalled CC and therefore Lightroom (Windows 10 PC)

I had backed up all of my develop presets to an external drive and thought I had imported them properly but I am missing a bunch. When select Show Lightroom Presets from preferences, it shows to folder as being C;/Users/bians/appdata/roaming/adobe/cameraRaw/settings The presets in this location are all in subfolders but the only folder that shows in Lightroom is the one called User Presets. Why is Auto Fix, Improve Photography Landscapes etc etc not appearing Lightroom?

    Two possible issues.

    1. You placed them in the wrong place. I base this on my machine, when I import a third party preset, they do not get placed in settings, they get placed in ImportedSettings

    2. Try importing them via the Presets Panel import dialog. See what happens, Import them from where you have them, let LR place them where it sees fit. Despite what you are told via LR preferences.

    Oh Dratt.

I should had led with the following.

Have you double checked that they are simply not being displayed by the Preset MPanel management.

In the Presets Panel, Click on the +

    Then select Manage

Then scroll down thru the Manager and see if they appear (but without the box checked).
