Does Lightroom 4.3 need internet access to function properly?

Hi all. I am travelling to the Arctic. I won't have internet. My Mac laptop does not have the system resources to run the newest versions of Lightroom, and it runs the old 4.3 version well.  I wonder, does Lightroom 4.3 need internet access to function properly? If so, how can I "turn that off" and use it away from any connectivity?

Thanks in advance for any help you may be able to offer.

Correct answer DdeGannes

If you have the original Lightroom 4.3, which you likely purchased on a CD disk with a license key, then you will not need internet access.

Hi Denis, thanks for the swift response, and yes, it is the old CD version, as you surmised. 🙂

I really appreciate your taking the time to answer my query. Thank you once again.

Kindest regards, Doug.
